Sr PGD Operations Specialist

GCEC generation assets include 4 conventional units converted from coal to run 100% natural gas and 4 dual fuel simple cycle combustion turbines. This position is a developmental role for future growth opportunities within our Power Generation Division Operations Team. Upon determination and timing and under general direction, this individual shall be able to successfully supervise and drive the operations team to achieve all production and business targets while maintaining an injury-free work site. Employees in this role are responsible for the assessment, management, and planning of activities to ensure all plant equipment is operational and available to support plant production requirements. This includes technical support for daily operations, plant and process improvements, equipment acquisition, plant breakdown and analysis, and recommending corrective actions. Job Duties & Responsibilities
Trains production personnel
Ensures that all production activities are completed in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Conducts activities in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and consistent with PGD policies, procedures, and practices
Performs other job-related duties as assigned Required Qualifications
High School Grad / GED
Experience: 4+ years Preferred Qualifications
