Our Math Learning Center is looking for a self-motivated starter looking to gain experience in business operations, sales, marketing, analytics, and customer service. This person will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day operations associated with running a smooth learning center. They will also assist with math tutoring, customer service, sales, and marketing tasks. Online and in-center training will be provided. The Admissions Counselor and Coordinator will manage the day-to-day functions of a center and is part of the leadership in the center assuming responsibility for the center needs when the Center Director is occupied. Must have prior experience in customer service and office working experience, live within driving distance of Poway, CA (in San Diego) and be able to accommodate afternoon hours Monday - Friday and Saturday mornings. Responsibilities:

Assume daily responsibility for ensuring all operational activities, such as data entry, spreadsheet management, creating binders for students, entering student progress into the learning center management system, and coordinating with the center director to modify student learning plans/workout plans, are properly completed. Administer educational math assessments to diagnose learning gaps and create student learning plans. Positively interact and engage with parents, building rapport, establishing trust, answering any inquiries, and taking the time to get to know the person. Promote the center and the program through online marketing and social media tools Engage in sales activities to enroll new families and students in the program Center administrative and cleaning tasks in collaboration with the rest of the staff Qualifications:

Recent college graduate with a degree in mathematics, sciences, engineering, communications, or teaching Strong foundational math skills till Algebra 2 (High score on Math SAT or ACT) 2+ Prior working experience in customer service Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent communication & organizational skills Ability to multi-task efficiently in a fast-paced environment Excellent PC, MS Office skills, and data entry skills Strong work ethic, punctual, detail-oriented, and reliable Must be available to work 1 PM-7 PM Monday - Friday Reply with a resume and cover letter.
