Job Title: Residential Support Specialist

As a Residential Support Specialist, you'll be a vital part of that missionproviding compassionate, person-centered care in a supportive home environment. What You'll Do
Develop and implement individualized care plans that reflect each resident's unique needs, goals, and preferences. Help residents with essential daily tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication administration, and household responsibilitiesencouraging independence every step of the way. Collaborate with the care team to implement positive behavioral strategies, creating a calm and respectful living environment. Organize and participate in recreational outings, social events, and community activities to foster inclusion and connection. Work closely with healthcare professionals, therapists, and fellow support staff to ensure a holistic, coordinated approach to care. Share observations and updates to support each resident's progress. Minimum Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license and ability to drive an agency vehicle Reliable transportation for local travel Ability to pass Act 33/34/73 clearances Pre-employment drug screening, physical exam, and TB test Completion of Department of Public Welfare Medication Training within 90 days of hire Why Join Pittsburgh Mercy?
