Senior Distribution Analyst
This position is based out of our Domestic Supply Chain Hub in North Chicago, IL (3 days onsite/2 days remote, 100% remote option is not available), relocation assistance is not available for this role. Position Summary: We are looking for a highly motivated, analytical distribution analyst to drive operational support with our distribution centers. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for the daily operation management of third-party warehousing and logistics service providers, supervising the quality of daily warehousing and transportation operations, coordinating and handling problems arising from the operation process, and ensuring the safety and compliance requirements of the company's pharmaceutical products in the storage and transportation links. Supporting with relevant stock reports and updates and tracking inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and/or dead stock Working closely with cross functional teams to secure that product returns are made in time as agreed with customers Warehouse system management includes IDOC monitoring and issue resolution, inventory reconciliation, discrepancy resolution, cycle count management and stock adjustments. Inventory management including STO, stock taking, in-bound and out-bound management, return & destruction. Handle and respond timely queries from Trade team on order status, pick status, delivery status. Ensure routine cycle counting process and schedule is followed by the 3PLs- i.e., counts are completed, documentation is received (perpetual inventory, screen shots, summaries, etc), reviewed and approved. Run the daily inventory reconciliation report between 3PL and AbbVie systems. Identify new discrepancies and follow up with internal stakeholders, 3PL or Global Information Technology teams to get timely and accurate resolution. Track and trend inventory reconciliation issues. Drive the short dated/excess inventory review process to mitigate any risk on obsolescence and/or collaborate with finance to create reserves. Education: Preferred Bachelor's degree or below equivalent experience, preferably in business or supply chain Skills and Competencies: Bachelor's degree or below equivalent experience, preferably in business, supply chain, or environmental science Fulfillment services, warehouse design and system configuration service Familiarity with warehouse management systems 5 years' experience in Operations, Information Technology, Supply Chain management and/ or Financial management Hands-on experience applying basic to advanced analytics tools and techniques Data analysis and interpretation Proven capability to manage and implement change management programs Strong cross functional collaboration with Information Technology (BTS), Commercial, Finance and within Supply Chain at varying levels of the organization Working Knowledge of SAP/JDA and/or other similar systems. Ability to translate and prioritize technology trends around data science to practical implementation Well-developed interpersonal skills including strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
