Operate small equipment and hand tools on a variety of job sites consisting of paving, grading, pipe installation, and site work. Maintains housekeeping of job site and facilities, ensures equipment is in good working order Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in asphalt paving, typical site work, grading, storm/sanitary/water pipe installation, etc Properly follow all Company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment. Report any problems to the Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager. Performs routine inspection and preventative and corrective maintenance on small equipment and hand tools if within abilities; escalates issues that are not repairable or safe. Routinely assists other members of the crew as needed, including shoveling and cleanup Fuel, oil and grease to ensure proper function of equipment and complete associated paperwork Performs other related activities as assigned Qualifications

High School Diploma (or equivalency) AND prior relevant job experience Valid/Clean Driver's License Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. Must have the ability to work a varied schedule of day shift, night shift, and weekends due to construction contracts Ability to operate and maintain heavy equipment (excavator and loader experience preferred) Working knowledge of methods, materials and tools used in typical site work, grading, storm/sanitary/water pipe installation, etc Working knowledge of hazards and safety precautions Conditions Of Employment

Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Work Environment

Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. Compensation

$27.00 per hour base pay. (PA DOL Prevailing wage pay based on work.)
