1st Shift Assembler
Assembling and installing components and parts (including electrical and electronic components, wiring, hoses, subassemblies, etc.) according to technical specifications, blueprints, and work orders. Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and other technical documents to understand the assembly sequence, part placement, and specific installation instructions. Conducting quality checks throughout the assembly process and verifying the functionality and conformance of the assembled product to specifications. This may involve using measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving assembly or production issues by altering dimensions to meet specifications, repairing or replacing damaged parts, or contacting supervisors for additional support. Performing preventative maintenance on assembly equipment and tools, troubleshooting malfunctions, and initiating repairs as needed. Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment, following safety regulations and company procedures. Completing production and quality forms, recording data, and communicating any defects or discrepancies in the assembly process. Collaborating with team members, supervisors, and other departments to ensure smooth assembly operations, provide clear instructions, and deliver high-quality work. Checking stock levels, tracking orders, and verifying the receipt of supplies to ensure adequate availability of parts and materials. Additional skills and qualifications: Good attention to detail Previous assembly experience Open to training on all systems in assembly department Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
