Heavy Machine Technician
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Heavy Machine Operator with certified forklift experience to operate various types of heavy equipment in a fast-paced industrial or warehouse setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe movement, loading, and unloading of materials, as well as assisting with general site or facility operations. Key responsibilities include: Operate heavy machinery such as loaders, bulldozers, skid steers, or excavators, depending on job site needs. Safely operate forklifts to move, load, stack, or unload materials. Conduct pre-operational safety inspections on all assigned equipment and report maintenance issues. Follow site-specific safety protocols, traffic patterns, and material handling procedures. Assist in the setup and breakdown of job sites or staging areas as needed. Maintain accurate logs of equipment use and material movements. Perform general labor duties and support other crew members as required. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding job progress and safety concerns. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred. 2+ years of experience operating heavy machinery in a warehouse, construction, or industrial setting. Valid forklift certification and proven experience in forklift operation required. Ability to operate and maintain a variety of heavy equipment. Strong knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to equipment operation. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for long periods, and work in outdoor or warehouse environments. Willingness to work in various weather conditions and flexible hours when needed.
