2nd Shift Electronic Assembler
2nd shift (5pm - 1:30am) Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronic Assembler to join our dynamic production team. The role involves assembling electronic products by reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics, utilizing hand tools, and operating machinery. The ideal candidate will ensure all work is performed in accordance with quality and safety standards. Responsibilities
Read, interpret, and follow written work instructions or procedures to accurately assemble products. Utilize hand tools, such as screwdrivers and pliers, to install components. Ensure components are received from the prep department. Perform all work in accordance with quality standards and established safety procedures. Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet quality standards. Essential Skills
Experience in electronic assembly. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. Proficiency in the use of hand tools. Experience in machine operation. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Prior experience in production machinery or machine operation preferred. Electronics and mechanical assembly experience. Ability to accurately read and interpret show layouts. Ability to work within a small range of motions due to the small components involved in soldering. Why Work Here?

Candidates will be part of a team of over 20 employees in the Production department. The dress code includes jeans, steel toe boots, and a polo shirt. There are openings 2nd shift (5pm - 1:30am), with training for the 2nd shift occurring on the 1st shift. Positions require standing for 8+ hours per day. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orangeburg, New York. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
