Turner Industries Group is hiring a Logistics Administrator to join our team in St. Gabriel, LA. The overall purpose of the Logistics Administrator position is to assist our client in the efficient distribution of goods. As a logistics administrator, your job duties include overseeing shipping procedures, managing the flow of orders, communicating with logistics staff, including drivers, packaging staff, and warehouse workers. Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in business administration, logistics, or related field preferred Self-motivated, problem-solving, communication, time management Extensive skills in SAP, Microsoft Word, Excel, SharePoint, and Warehouse Management Systems Strong organizational, recordkeeping, and interpersonal skills Valid TWIC card Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of others at the workplace Functional Requirements: Coordinate shipping schedule with the warehouse team. Validate production bin locations; validate production report and sample data to release packaged goods for shipment. Create stock transfer order bill of ladings; assist with export BOL's, perform daily SAP transactions, create POs for logistics manager; order supplies, pay open invoices for the logistics department; review goods receipt, balance inventory for finished goods. Maintain documentation for standard operating procedures. When needed, assist with driver customer service counter. Daily activities may vary depending on requirements. Compensation: Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
