Join the MercyOne Family! We are looking to hire a Cancer Program Coordinator. As a Cancer Program Coordinator at MercyOne, you will coordinate cancer program activities and implementation. Ensures cancer program compliance with accreditation standards. Adheres to MercyOne's performance expectations and performs all defined services and other related duties in accordance with the mission, vision and values of MercyOne. Schedule: Full time 40 hours Day shift General Requirements: Coordinates Cancer Program accreditation. Facilitates cancer program activities. Represents MercyOne Northeast Iowa for cancer related community health education and promotion. Coordinates cancer-screening programs. Adheres to all safety, infection control and employee health policies and procedures. Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State, and local laws and regulations, Trinity Health's Organizational Integrity Program, Standards of Conduct, as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical, and professional behavior. Education: BSN or BA in Health Education, Health Promotion, or Health Management preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or other oncology related medical program. Licensure or certification in accordance with education. Oncology nursing certificate preferred. Minimum of 2 years oncology related clinical experience. High language, intermediate math, high reasoning ability. Personal computer. Ability to work with diverse group of people.
