Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electronics and manufacturing equipment, including PLC controllers, ovens, and conveyors. The role involves installing, inspecting, and improving the efficiency of the equipment while adhering to safety, quality, and operational efficiency requirements. Responsibilities

Perform electrical maintenance on equipment such as felt lines, molding equipment, presses, robotics (ABB Robots), and water jets. Troubleshoot 480V electrical systems, including understanding and diagnosing issues through electrical panels/cabinets. Maintain and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems on presses. Set up and install new equipment for facility upgrades. Troubleshoot and maintain motors, sensors, photo eyes, switches, proxy switches, and color sensors. Maintain and troubleshoot junction boxes and terminal switches. Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and replace wiring as needed. Perform facilities maintenance, including lighting. Document maintenance tasks and preventive maintenance schedules in CMMS systems (ShireSystem). Essential Skills

3+ years of industrial maintenance experience. Experience troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Ability to troubleshoot 480V electrical systems. Ability to read blueprints. Possess own toolbox and tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Siemens PLC troubleshooting experience. Welding/fabrication experience. Ability to use a manual mill and/or lathe. Why Work Here?

Openings available for day shifts (6 AM - 6 PM) and night shifts (6 PM - 6 AM) with a 2 on-3 off-3 on-2 off schedule, working 15 days per month with every other weekend off. Enjoy a $0.75 additional shift premium for night shifts. Work in a large 300,000 sq ft facility with around 350 employees, manufacturing carpet for the automotive industry, interiors, and wheel well products using natural and synthetic fibers, mostly from recycled materials. The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr. Workplace Type
