Pharma Market Discovery Lead
The successful candidate will drive explorations into new potential market areas for ADI technologies across the Life Sciences Research Tools Market with a focus on applications in Biopharma. You will also support the new and existing product development efforts with market understanding and network expansion and development. Your ultimate objective is to identify and help create new business opportunities for Analog Devices and to speed success of existing programs. You will drive market exploration and work collaboratively with both the business and technical teams in the Garage and across ADI to identify and explore market opportunities. You will work closely with agile R&D teams to decide which features or performance attributes are most likely to determine project success and help assemble teams to build and vet these products and markets. You will be expected to synthesize, distill, and communicate market understanding across a range of deep technical exploration projects you will be running. Once new explorations and product visions are identified you can lead these product development opportunities as well. Responsibilities: Staying updated on industry trends and advancements Researching industry, technology and application trends and distilling and sharing out this information to a diverse audience Assessing the competitive landscape across the Biopharma research tools landscape and how it is evolving Building internal tools for coordination and sharing of market and area expertise Building new approaches to share distilled market challenges, and drive collaborative cross-team, and cross-functional efforts to integrate creative ideas from diverse teams Conducting customer discovery to understand emerging customer needs and how we could address future markets Understanding our technical capabilities and thinking creatively with a diverse team to identify areas where we can build novel solutions to existing and future challenges in the space Advise the technical team on critical areas for new technology development to expand our digital biology platform that could unlock groundbreaking new product areas Sustaining close collaborations across Analog Devices' business units and with external partners Envisioning and outlining potential go-to-market strategy for potential program areas Preferred qualifications (not all necessary but a mix of these is preferred) PhD in Biology, Biological or Biomedical Engineering or a related field, or Masters with equivalent work experience Minimum 5 years post-graduate and/or industrial experience working in product development or marketing for life science tools Technical background in Life Sciences with hands-on knowledge in one or more of the following: High throughput screening (HTS), in vitro Cell and Molecular assays, protein or biophysics assays, biomanufacturing Strong understanding of the drug discovery pipeline including the challenges and opportunities for advancing the industry Research experience biotech or pharma
including drug discovery, development, or biomanufacturing Strong collaborative skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced multidisciplinary team environment.
