Conventional Machinist
We are seeking a dedicated Fabrication Helper to join our team. In this role, you will primarily operate CNC machines, focusing on drilling holes and providing essential support to our fabrication department. Your responsibilities will include visual inspection using calipers and utilizing handheld grinders. You will work with aluminum and steel materials, leveraging your mechanical skills and supporting secondary operations with hand grinders and saws. Responsibilities

Utilize handheld grinders for finishing processes. Assist in secondary operations, using hand grinders and saws. Work with aluminum and steel materials effectively. Essential Skills
Experience in fabrication and material handling. Proficiency in machine operating, especially CNC machines. Ability to perform visual inspections using calipers. Skilled in using hand tools and power tools. Mechanically inclined with a problem-solving mindset. Additional Skills & Qualifications

The work environment is a heavy manufacturing setting, requiring steel toe boots for safety. You will work from 6 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility of overtime on Saturdays, totaling 45-50 hours weekly. The shop is open-air, which means it can get hot, especially when working outside in the sun. The pace is fast due to job-oriented tasks based on concert flow, and candidates will undergo a blueprint test during the interview to demonstrate their ability to interpret and execute tasks accurately. The pay range for this position is $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
