Student Experience

The Data Processing Support Student Associate position supports the Student Experience Manager in the strategic and tactical aspects of the OnRamps remote grading and student grading team. With a dynamic team of 1000+ education professionals and more than 30,000 students, the Data Processing Support Student Associate will manage and analyze data, prepare reports, and use measures of success in analytics. This position will also provide sustained contributions to prepping and auditing invoices, maintaining process integrity, quality control, and data hygiene for ongoing initiatives. Students in this position are also expected to provide administrative assistance related to ongoing OnRamps remote grading team hiring, onboarding, scaled communications, learning management system maintenance, and just-in-time assistance with seasonal and urgent projects. Responsibilities: Assists the Student Experience Manager with day-to-day operational aspects of remote grading team management within OnRamps, pursuing excellence in all aspects of project and customer service delivery. Prepares invoices, writes formulas, and audits payments with supervision of Student Experience manager. Performs data entry, summarizes findings, creates reports (including charts and graphs), maintains systems of statistical information, and engages in other Quality Control measures to support new and existing student and remote grading team management projects as needed. Provides administrative assistance related to ongoing OnRamps student and remote grading team hiring, onboarding, and invoicing needs including but not limited to writing and editing processes, guides, checklists, and assets according to best practices. Supports in Canvas Learning Management system and developing professional development assets and engage in continuous improvement processes toward achievement of Student Experience objectives. Required Qualifications: Current student at The University of Texas at Austin Data management and analysis skills Strong knowledge of Excel and/or formula writing Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint Punctual, reliable, responsible Self-motivated and committed Preferred Qualifications: Academic interest in education, data science and/or visualization, or related field Experience in finance and accounting Experience working in a professional office environment Experience with Canvas or other Learning Management System (LMS), Smartsheet or other project management platform Advanced data management and analysis skills, including the ability to perform basic frequency data analysis Salary: $12.00 - $14.50 hourly Working Conditions: May work around standard office conditions. Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
