The Head Of Facilities role is crucial for ensuring that the physical work environment supports the operational needs of the company and enhances overall workplace efficiency. This role supports that production targets are met efficiently, safely, and with the highest quality standards, supporting the company's overall manufacturing goals. What You Get To Do: Strategic Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership for the facilities management team, ensuring efficient and effective operations. Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance of all building systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and safety systems. Budget Management: Develop and manage budgets for facility operations, ensuring cost-effective solutions. Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors and contractors for maintenance, repairs, and construction projects. Compliance: Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with EHS on these standards. Preventive Maintenance: Implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend the life of equipment. Space Management: Coordinate internal and external moves, ensuring optimal use of space and resources. Emergency Response: Support EHS emergency response plans for facility-related incidents. Project Management: Lead facility-related projects, including renovations and new constructions, from planning to execution. Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on facility operations and performance. What You Bring To The Team: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 15 years of experience in facility management or related field. Strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems; proficiency in budget management; excellent organizational and multitasking abilities; strong problem-solving and decision-making skills; leadership skills to mentor and manage a team; proficiency in facility management software and tools.
