Quality Assurance Inspector
Performs inspections and sets quality assurance testing models for analysis of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. The schedule is Mon-Thurs for day and swing shift and Fri-Sun on the weekend shift. The company would like this person to work Mon-Thurs but flexible with this person working day or swing after initial training period. Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned: Performs inspections of raw materials, materials in process, and finished products. Programs CMM's and set metrology methods per best practices and/or customer requirements. Proficient in Calypso Programming Software. Continually improve and implement new programs and tools to develop and support our culture Identifies and develops process and equipment needed to produce specific products, parts, and components culture Manufacturing Support & Process Engineering Use the CMM to measure part dimensions Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision; typically reports to a supervisor or manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Participate in the development of the company's strategic planning, vision, mission and values and desired culture Abide by and support all safety and quality system requirements Additional skills and qualifications: Use of technology
utilizing metrology tools from handheld to CMM's. Software experience: Recent use of Calypso software or recently completed Zeiss tool training. Design
Blueprint reading, GD&T knowledge, demonstrates attention to detail. Teamwork
Ability to work in a team environment. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and/or 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Experience working in an AS9100 manufacturing environment. Pay and benefits: The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $38.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
