Flexographic Printing (Burnsville, MN)

Join a dynamic production team operating high-performance flexographic printing presses to create premium card stock products. You'll work with industry-leading machines like 'The Person' and 'Telstar', ensuring top-tier quality and efficiency in every run. Operate flexographic presses for card stock production. Monitor press operations for malfunctions and quality issues. Change and align print plates with precision. Perform preventative maintenance (lubrication, roller inspection, etc.). Load material rolls using hoists. Monitor and replenish ink levels. Conduct machine setup, changeovers, and shutdowns. Maintain accurate logs and work order documentation. Inspect products and prepare them for shipment (labeling, boxing, palletizing). 5+ years of experience in a similar press operator role. Hands-on experience with flexographic printing, especially in-line, 3-web systems. Familiarity with 'The Person' or 'Telstar' machines. Strong troubleshooting and machine setup skills. Knowledge of UV inks, label/card stock, and narrow web material. Experience maintaining print registration and quality control. Offset printing experience. Knowledge of UV lamps, hot melt adhesives, and water-based glues. Team-oriented mindset for operating large equipment. Experience with die-cutting and adhesive applications. Team of 3 operators on large flexographic presses. Clean, moderately noisy production floor. Occasional lifting up to 40 lbs (team lifts up to 150 lbs). Facility includes a large warehouse with 10 employees. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
