The responsibilities include supervising assigned staff, assisting with clinical oversight of all services at the set location, and assisting the Clinical Director with organizing admissions and discharges. Conducting assessments, interpreting findings, hiring new employees, overseeing the development of individual treatment plans, and providing direct service to clients are also part of the role. Additionally, the position involves individual and group counseling services, possible case management, on-call duties, weekly supervision with direct reports, conducting weekly staff meetings, utilizing behavior management strategies, ensuring quality assurance, overseeing compliance with laws and accreditation, coordinating staff schedules, writing progress notes, summaries, and discharges, administering medication, recognizing utilization goals, handling information confidentially, communicating openly, and notifying authorities of health hazards. The role also requires observing and implementing policies, ensuring all documentation is completed, reporting incidents, cooperating in investigations, establishing trust and support, providing coaching and learning, identifying successes and areas for improvement, expressing positive expectations, delegating tasks, rewarding good performance, encouraging reporting of non-compliance, conducting employee evaluations, providing clinical direction, developing clinical services, providing clinical input and supervision, performing other duties to improve employee effectiveness, promoting community integration, and providing clinical management for day-to-day operations. Qualifications
The qualifications include a Master's degree in social work, counseling, or closely related field, minimum of 2000 hours of verifiable work experience providing services to individuals with mental illness, a valid driver's license and car insurance, supervisory experience, ability to communicate verbally and in writing, experience in managing systems, processes, and people, operating general office equipment, good organizational skills, attention to detail, capability to work with confidential information, and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
