This role is required to assist the Blanton Museum of Art Development team with internal operations, including documentation of donor correspondence, organization of systems, administrative support on events, and other assistance as needed. Assist with donor reporting by working with other museum departments to gather information on supported projects, including statistics, recognition materials, program descriptions, and other pertinent information Assist with updating Altru database, including names and contact information, salutations, VIP ID numbers, and other data entry as necessary Discretion and professionalism in dealing with sensitive information Search VIP for information to update Altru database including VIP ID numbers for donors and prospective donors, and contact and biographical information (will be required to attend appropriate VIP training sessions) Assist with tracking event attendees and other groups of potential donors for prospect research Attend and assist with development and membership events on an as needed basis Assist with general research on corporate, foundation, and individual prospects when appropriate Assist with assembly of packets for National Leadership Board meetings on an as needed basis Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications
Desire to learn about the fundraising operations of a not-for-profit organization Strong written communication and organizational skills Strong attention to detail No prior experience in development is required Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of fundraising structure and systems Familiarity with Blanton Museum of Art Experience with Excel and Microsoft Word is preferred Some knowledge of Blanton Museum exhibitions and educational programs is preferred Salary Range: $10.00 - $13.00/hour Working Conditions
