Quality Inspector
We are seeking a professional Quality Control Inspector with a minimum of two years' experience in inspecting machined metal parts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of measuring instruments and gaging, with proficiency in using gage blocks, pins, micrometers, calipers, and thread gages. Additionally, experience in reading mechanical drawings and running a CMM is highly valued. Pay rate will be determined by direct experience and interview. Responsibilities
Bubble prints and produce inspection reports. Inspect parts to specifications based on prints and drawings. Follow defined inspection procedures and utilize calibrated equipment. Review new order drawings to develop in-process inspection plans. Create inspection plans for details that cannot be inspected on the shop floor. Understand workload and adjust tasks accordingly. Prepare shipping documents for products ready to be sent to customers. Essential Skills
Experience in quality control for machined metal parts. Proficiency in using gage blocks, pins, micrometers, calipers, and thread gages. Ability to read mechanical drawings. Experience with dimensional inspection and calibration procedures. Additional Skills & Qualifications
