Welder and Fabricator

The Welder/Fabricator is responsible for reading blueprints, fabricating parts according to specifications, laying out parts, and welding them together. This role involves working on a diverse range of projects including Structural Steel, Miscellaneous Metals, Concrete Forms, and Ornamental Iron work. The type of welding and fabrication varies with each project. Pay: $25-$30/hr based on experience The standard shift is Monday to Friday, 6am to 2:30pm, with the possibility of extending to 5am to 3:30pm. Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols. Fabricate parts to specifications and layout parts. Weld parts using MIG, Flux Core, and TIG techniques. Operate an overhead crane and forklift. Set up and operate fabrication machinery such as Press Brake, Iron Worker, and Plasma Table. Grind and clean welds. Assist in the paint area. Essential Skills

3+ years of welding and fabricating experience. Proficiency in welding using MIG, Flux Core, and TIG techniques. Blueprint reading with a focus on weld symbols. Strong layout and fitting skills. Excellent measuring skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience with overhead cranes, iron workers, and plasma tables is a plus. D1.1 or other welding certifications are a plus. The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
