As a school-based Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Elizabeth, Colorado, your days will include: Provide direct and consultative services to students with visual impairments. Develop and implement individualized instructional plans aligned with each students IEP. Support the development of Braille literacy, use of assistive technology, orientation and mobility skills, and access to the general education curriculum. Collaborate with special education staff, classroom teachers, and families. Document student progress and ensure compliance with district and state regulations. Position: Contract 20252026 Academic Year in a school setting Hours: Part-time (3.5 hours/day, Monday Friday) Caseload & Grade Levels: Serving multiple caseloads and age groups (PreK5th Grade) Successful Candidates Possess: A Bachelors or Masters degree in Visual Impairment Education (required) An active or pending Colorado state TVI certification, or the ability to obtain (required) Experience in a school or pediatric setting (preferred) The ability to work in the U.S. Without a sponsor Note: new graduates are welcome to apply To discuss this role and how you can make a lasting impact on studentslives, apply online today.
