Are you a hands-on expert with a deep understanding of punch press operations, tooling, and troubleshooting? Do you take pride in producing high-quality stamped parts while keeping machines running at peak performance? We're seeking a Punch Press Setup Technician who's ready to own the full setup, operation, and light repair of complex tooling and die systems. This is your opportunity to play a critical role in precision manufacturing where your expertise will directly impact production quality and efficiency. grow your skills! What You'll Be Doing: Set up and operate punch presses using progressive, compound, combination, and forming/drawing dies Adjust machine timing, air/mechanical knockout devices, ram stroke, automatic feeds, and more Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment or die malfunctions
and make or recommend corrections Perform light tool and die repair work, new die work-in, and preventive maintenance Approve setups in collaboration with Quality Control and maintain consistent part quality Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and digital comparators to perform part inspections Report machine performance and quality through proper documentation and communication What You Bring: Previous experience setting up metal punch press or stamping machines Strong background in metal stamping industry Experience with precision measuring devices Problem-solving mentality and strong mechanical intuition The ability to read blueprints Ability to pass pre-employment screening Schedule: 1st or 2nd Shift: Monday
