As a K-12 school-based Social Worker in Palm Deset, CA your days will include: Evaluating students mental health, social-emotional skills, and behavioral needs through observations, interviews, and standardized assessments Creating and implementing personalized strategies to help students succeed academically and socially, collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators Responding to crises such as trauma, bullying, family issues, or behavioral escalations, providing immediate support and long-term coping strategies Acting as a liaison between students, parents, and school staff to ensure a comprehensive, successful approach to student support Providing Group Therapy to identified students Job Details Position: Contract (option to renew) in a school setting Hours: Full-time (Monday - Friday) Caseload: Elementary, Middle, and High School options Successful Candidates Possess Masters Degree in Social Work or related field (required) An active Department of Education state licensure, or ability to obtain (required) Experience in a school setting (required) The ability to work in the U.S. without a sponsor Licensed or pending license new graduates are welcome to apply Phaxis Education Benefits Day One Coverage: Medical, dental, and vision benefits available, with year-round coverage options for contracted staff!
