Join our dedicated team as a Mobile Crisis Specialist II, where you'll respond to individuals in mental health crisiseither out in the community or onsite at University Health Emergency Department and clinics. What You'll Do: Provide fast, focused mental health support to individuals in crisis Help people avoid unnecessary hospital stays or justice system involvement Work closely with a compassionate, skilled team to assess and stabilize situations Connect clients with the right resources and next steps for recovery What You Need: A Master's degree (or higher) in social work, counseling, psychology, family therapy, or a related field MO LMSW (if you're a social worker) If working in Behavioral Health Inpatient: BLS certification required Solid understanding of psychiatric terms, diagnoses, and crisis intervention Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills Good judgment and flexibility in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment Willingness to complete training and meet driving requirements if applicable Experience working with diverse populations Familiarity with community mental health systems, crisis intervention, and relevant laws (like civil commitment and guardianship)
