Residential Care Advisor

Our Residential Care Advisors provide assistance and training to individuals with Intellectual Disabilities/Serious Mental Illness in our residential treatment locations. We're looking for people who have experience developing and mentoring a team, and who believe in a strengths-based approach, and use positive practices to help guide their everyday activities. Schedule: Wednesday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 midnight or as needed by the program. (this is considered a double shift) About You: In any given day, you might cook, clean, take residents to appointments, interact with family members, and design games and crafts. We're looking for employees who are professional, flexible, compassionate, and can remain composed in stressful situations. This is a team-based position. Our sites are like your family home! to people who are experiencing: Mental illness and substance abuse Physical health needs Traumatic events or circumstances Responsibilities/Requirements: Must have a valid PA driver's license and be able to drive an organization automobile/van Must have Act 33/34/73 Clearances upon hire Must have Bachelor's Degree OR High School or Equivalency and 1 year of human services experience. Must obtain and maintain ServeSafe Certification. Pre-Employment: Physical, Hep B, TB, and Drug Screenings Schedule: Wednesday, 4:00 pm to 12:00 midnight, Thursday and Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 midnight or as needed by the program.
