Industry leading manufacturing company urgently hiring a Concrete Inspector! Located in Gardiner, NY Pay: $20-$30 an hour Shift: 6:30am-3:00pm Monday-Friday (OT available) Job Description
Maintain ACI Grade I- Field Certification status Maintain PCI Grade I- QC/QA status Responsible for Slump Testing Establish criteria for project QC. Develop standards for purchasing. Develop standards for receiving, testing and acceptance. Develop standards for production testing. Develop standards for pre-pour and post-pour inspections. Obtain procedures from engineering for correcting nonconforming assemblies and products. Maintain lab equipment in calibration. Carry out receiving testing and production testing. Inform the Plant Manager of any nonconforming test results. Maintain monitoring equipment (tapes, levels and instruments). Execute pre-pour inspections according to plant standards. Coordinate samples, mockups and initial production approval of architectural finishes. Distribute color and finish approvals into production. Record and maintain records for pre-pour. Maintain product tagging Review all shop-drawing packages and distribute through the shop Verify tags are properly initialed for pre-pour or pre- spray production Report to production manager any pre-production irregularities or improper initialing of tags Provide production with proper color samples for each job color Develop color samples for new projects Oversee color room production Create standards for all color samples Responsible for material testing for Rosetta Hardscapes products, water absorption, compressive strengths etc. Pre-pour testing of precast material, their test temperature and test cylinders, material spread Break cylinders on one day test for precast APPLY TODAY!! The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
