Assistant Mitigation Estimator
Assistant Mitigation Estimator reports to Mitigation Manager(s) and works under the Head Mitigation Estimator. Wage: $16 per hour starting with growth opportunity! Part-time (perfect for a working parent!) with opportunity to move to full-time! Requirements: Must be able to pass a federal background check (no felonies or misdemeanors) and an initial and random drug test. Roles: Training available for all the below: Must be very tech savvy and able to troubleshoot issues when they arise Must be proficient and quick in typing Able to work in an office atmosphere and at a computer throughout working hours Must be able to take and make phone calls Must be able to respect complete confidentiality of all Paul Davis internal information, customer information, insurance company information, etc. from within and outside of the office Able to work with either 1 or multiple screens at any time during the workday Be proficient in writing estimates in both Xactimate and Symbility platforms (experience not required, training available) Be able to adopt our PDR WNPA system of T&M estimating Be a team player and work well as a team Work directly with the Head estimator Work directly with the mitigation Project managers on scopes of work Review scopes provided by Project Managers from multiple platforms/documents Upload initial job documents provided by the Project Managers to the appropriate online platform(s) within the time frames allotted Be able to write "temporary" estimates or "work order" estimates to produce payouts for Project managers, laborers, technicians, subcontractors and/or venders Able to locate and follow all the different insurance company and/or third-party administrator guidelines, policies and procedures for scoping/estimating. Including being able to follow the changes to these guidelines on a regular basis Managing and working through all job tasks, progressions, audits, compliances, etc. and completing them in a timely manner per PDR job/TPA/Insurance company guidelines Navigate all needed online platforms during job progression, including but not limited to: Xactanalysis Symbility Claims Connect Code Blue dashboard Contractor Connection dashboard Sedgwick dashboard Lionsbridge MICA Contents Track RMS KnowHow Microsoft Office Excel Matterport Etc. (possibly many more) Communicate back and forth with FAST, carriers, TPA's, department managers, homeowners and adjusters on estimate revisions that need done and on any justification for estimate line items - this all needs done within the allotted time frames Upload all final documents provided by the PM to the appropriate online platform Participate in weekly meetings with Mitigation Managers & Project Managers as needed to discuss job progressions, job budgeting and any other job specific scenarios and concerns Follow up with insurance carriers, TPAs, adjusters, and customers regarding payment for outstanding balances Review job status reports for completed jobs prior to submittal for job closing and sign off on checklists/audits Consistently communicating/documenting ALL job-related information into the appropriate platforms for management Benefits (available for full-time employees): Paid holidays off, PTO after 90 days, health insurance packages, dental and vision options, 401k, short term disability Since 1966, Paul Davis has been an industry leader in the areas of property damage mitigation, reconstruction and remodeling.
