Facilities And Factory Maintenance
At Husqvarna Construction in Olathe, KS, oversees the operation, maintenance, and improvement of company facilities and production equipment to ensure safety, functionality, and efficiency. Leads preventative and corrective maintenance efforts while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. Key Responsibilities:
Facilities Maintenance (40%)
Oversee daily facility operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.). Schedule and manage routine and preventative maintenance. Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Factory Maintenance (40%)
Develop and execute preventative maintenance programs. Manage equipment installations, relocations, and removals. Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, and ISO 9001:2015 standards. Maintain spare parts inventory and equipment records.
Department Management (20%)
Act as a leader of change in support of company initiatives Manage budgets and resources efficiently. Develop emergency procedures and response plans. Provide technical guidance and enforce company policies.
Competencies & Skills:
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking abilities. Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. Experience with continuous improvement and compliance regulations. Effective communication and leadership skills. Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in facilities management, engineering, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience. 3-5 years in facilities maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or project management. Working Conditions:
Factory environment with exposure to noise and dust. Requires lifting up to 40 lbs., bending, stooping, and climbing ladders. Deadlines and occasional extended work hours.
