Senior Group Marketing Manager
This Senior Group Marketing Manager will be responsible for leading the downstream marketing strategies and initiatives for the Clot Management product portfolio, part of Boston Scientific's Peripheral Interventions division. This role will manage a team of global product managers in the high-growth vascular market. To be successful, this individual will need to collaborate with many cross-functional partners, to include Medical Affairs, Brand Activation, Marketing Strategy, Upstream Marketing, Clinical, Sales, and Sales Training. At Boston Scientific, we value collaboration and synergy. This role follows a hybrid work model requiring employees to be in our local office at least three days per week. Boston Scientific will not offer sponsorship or take over sponsorship of an employment visa for this position at this time. Your responsibilities will include: Effectively lead a team of marketing product managers to achieve excellent performance of downstream marketing activities, campaigns and initiatives for the clot management products. Lead team through execution of key clinical data launches, ensuring impactful messaging to enhance product understanding and adoption. Lead and manage economic marketing strategies, focusing on demonstrating the value of the clot management products. Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create compelling economic value propositions. Develop and execute a multi-year, integrated commercial plan, ensuring alignment with PI Vascular franchise objectives and the strategic plan. Drive execution of the commercial plan to meet or exceed revenue, profitability and budget targets. Work closely with global partners to bring the EKOS, AngioJet and SmartClaw platforms to high growth regions internationally. Identify and communicate competitive threats and opportunities of the franchise and lead competitive action and response plans. Coach teams to develop simple, differentiated, concise messages and to create innovative downstream marketing solutions, programs, and tools to create value and drive preference. In collaboration with Marketing Strategy, gather customer and market insights to inform key decisions and marketing strategies. Establish in-depth knowledge of the peripheral vascular business environment, specifically around the carotid segment. Provide insights in the formulation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) market and revenue forecasting. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on marketing performance and initiatives. Develop product roadmaps and prioritize features based on market demand and business Spend time in the field to gain market and clinical insights and build relationships with key physicians. Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field 7+ years of medical device marketing experience or commensurate experience Proven experience in a senior marketing role, with a track record of successful marketing campaigns and execution. Demonstrated experience in development and giving presentations to internal and external customers including sales teams, physicians, and executives. Experience building strong physician relationships. Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, to include international travel. Preferred qualifications: Advanced degree (such as MBA) Exceptionally strong collaboration skills couple with a "team-first" leadership philosophy.
