Braiding Machine Operator
We offer competitive wages and have a sign-on bonus available. This role will provide full training. Successful candidates will be looking for a hands-on role, have strong math skills, and are mechanically inclined. Once trained you will set up and operate a wide variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines used in the production of our products. You will work from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by the supervisor to perform production tasks. Location: Middleburg Heights, OH (greater Cleveland area) Hours: 1st shift 1st Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm Your Challenge: Setting up, operating and maintaining braiding equipment used in the production of the company's product to carry out manufacturing processes Accurately following and interpreting instructions, procedures and drawings Verifying quality of product at the required intervals and verify accuracy of all work May be responsible for in-process inspections Checking and inspecting operation results against predetermined tolerances Your Expertise: Mechanical aptitude required High School Diploma or equivalency required Must be able to lift 50lbs unassisted Math skills
ability to complete basic calculations e.g. converting fractions to decimals Knowledge of measuring tools such as dial calipers, tape measures, etc. Some manufacturing or industrial experience preferred.
