Machine Operator/Packager
Location: Brockport, NY Pay: $17.50 - $20.00 per hour Shift Opportunities: 3rd Shift: 11pm - 7am Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating a single repack line, performing machine change-overs, and assisting with repairs. This role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality products in compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities
Set up and operate a single repack line according to Manufacturer's and Departmental Specifications. Perform machine change-overs for product run changes as determined by the production schedule. Conduct minor repairs and adjustments to machinery. Assist shift mechanics with major machinery repairs as needed. Ensure case counts on all line runs and verify their accuracy with the finished product dock checker. Verify metal detector accuracy as necessary. Adhere to all facility safety policies and procedures, always working in a safe manner. Maintain good housekeeping practices. Essential Skills
Experience in machine operation and general production. Mechanical aptitude. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to stand for 10 hours. Why Work Here?
