Vice President, Data Governance About the Company Respected healthcare services company Industry Hospital & Health Care Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Vice President of Data Governance to spearhead the launch and scaling of enterprise data governance and master data management strategies, with a particular focus on provider, patient, and payer data. The successful candidate will be a data leader capable of influencing executives, defining policies, and leading hands-on governance operations. This role requires a strategic and empathetic individual who is comfortable driving process and compliance within a healthcare setting. Key responsibilities include building and owning the enterprise data governance program, managing MDM initiatives, and championing data governance with executive leadership. The role also involves team management, technology and delivery oversight, and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years' experience in data governance, data quality, or MDM, with a proven track record in launching and managing enterprise MDM solutions, preferably in healthcare. Hands-on experience with catalog solutions, metadata management, and governance frameworks is essential, as is a strong working knowledge of healthcare data standards. The role demands exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, particularly with C-level executives, and a leadership style that is empathetic, inclusive, and process-driven. The candidate should be a strategic thinker, an influential communicator, and passionate about building data cultures and growing teams.
