We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to utilize CAD/CAM software for programming Numerical Controlled Machine tools to mill metals into Aerospace Part components. This role requires a strong understanding of tooling design, drafting, NC programming, and experience in Siemens NX 7.5 or higher. Responsibilities
Design work holding tools. Select cutting tools and create tool paths. Set up NC instructions. Build tooling instructions and drawings. Develop part drawings for inspections. Collaborate with first run specialists to correct and optimize processes. Multi-task and adhere to format and procedure guidelines. Meet tight deadlines and work overtime as needed. Essential Skills
5 years of experience in CAD/CAM including tooling design, drafting, and NC programming. 1 year minimum experience using Siemens NX 7.5 or higher. 5 years of experience in NC milling operations preferred. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Proficiency in GD&T. Familiarity with cutting tool speeds of various metals. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience using Catia V5 CAD preferred. 5-axis programming preferred. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Why Work Here?
