MedCare Staffing is seeking a Primary Care Physician for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity starting within the next 30 days.
Setting: 100% Outpatient
Schedule & Practice Details:
• Monday through Friday schedule
• Focus on geriatric patient population
• patients per day
• Established patient panel
• Supported by a dedicated clinical team
• EMR training provided
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver patient-centered care to older adults managing both chronic and acute conditions
• Follow clinical guidelines and maintain compliance with regulatory standards (HIPAA, CLIA, etc.)
• Participate in all aspects of patient care: assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and education
• Complete EMR documentation within 48 hours of each encounter
• Coordinate care with hospital teams when applicable
• Maintain a commitment to clinical excellence and professional standards
Requirements:
• Updated CV
• Active Oklahoma medical license
• BLS certification
• 2 3 professional references
• Valid DEA
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal or Family Medicine
• Familiarity with Medicare Advantage plans preferred
