Locum Radiologist - Sioux City, Iowa(IMLC Accepted) Availability / Schedule
  • Dates Needed:
    • August 4 - 8
    • September 15 - 19
    • September 29 - October 3
  • Clinic Days: Monday - Friday only (no weekends)
  • Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • Shift Length: 8 hours
  • Shifts per Month: Up to 20
  • On-Call: None
Licenses & Certifications
  • Board Certified - Required
  • Active Iowa License or Active IMLC - Required
  • Fellowship Trained in General Radiology with Mammography and Fluoroscopy - Required

  • Setting: Inpatient Radiology Department
  • Number of Radiologists On-site: 1
  • Nursing Support: 1:1 physician-to-nurse ratio
  • Ancillary Staff: Multiple staff per provider
  • Exam Rooms: 3 per provider
  • EMR: Powerscribe and Cerner
  • Teaching Opportunity: Yes
  • Lab and Pharmacy On-site: Yes
Patient & Volume Details
  • Clinic Provider Daily Volume: Approximately 111
  • Average Daily Hospital Census: 111
  • Appointment Length: 20 minutes
Procedures & Services Provided
  • Diagnostic imaging: X-rays, MRIs, CT scans, Mammograms, Ultrasounds
  • Specialized procedures: Swallow studies, Barium Enema, Myelogram, Lumbar Puncture
  • Interventional radiology using image guidance
Job Responsibilities
  • Analyze and interpret medical images to diagnose and monitor conditions
  • Communicate findings to the care team
  • Recommend additional diagnostic tests as needed
  • Collaborate with other healthcare providers
  • Perform image-guided interventional procedures
