Assembly Technician – Chesterfield, MO Pay: $20/hour Type: Contract-to-Hire Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Location: Chesterfield, MO

Kelly Services is seeking a detail-oriented Assembly Technician for our client in Chesterfield, MO. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a collaborative team supporting product development and production efforts. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical assembly, testing, and the use of hand and power tools in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assemble mechanical components using various tools and hardware

Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams to meet production goals

Conduct functional and general testing of components and assemblies

Perform incoming inspections on parts, sub-assemblies, and finished products

Maintain accurate inventory of parts and supplies

Provide timely updates to the engineering team regarding project progress

Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work area

Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Minimum of 1 year of experience in mechanical assembly, including testing and tooling

Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity

Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions

Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory tracking a plus

Strong communication and problem-solving skills
