Supervisory Account Executive (Branch Chief) , you will - Serve as a subject matter expert on a variety of complex topics involving the Division. - Develop broad policy objectives of the Division to effectuate legislative, regulatory, and administrative goals, policies, and procedures with respect to the assigned programs. - Devise criteria, instructions, notices and guidelines to achieve the goals and mission of the Division. - Serve as the first-line supervisor regarding the programs for which the Division is responsible. - Represent the Office of Asset Management & Portfolio Oversight when necessary, in dealing with key officials and other elements of HUD, other government agencies, private industry representatives and staff for members of Congress with respect to the insurance programs.

Requirements

Qualifications You must meet the following requirements by the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience:

To be qualified for this position at the

GS-14

level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the

GS-13

level.

Specialized experience

is defined as: Leading or managing a team of employees and monitoring their progress towards achieving project goals and objectives;

AND Coordinating and supporting a variety of multifamily housing asset management functions such as FHA mortgage insurance, Section 202 and 811 Capital Advance programs, Project-Based Section 8, preservation of affordable housing, rental subsidy administration, grant administration, risk management, and compliance;

AND Consulting with and providing technical assistance on a variety of federally assisted housing and/or affordable housing issues to audiences such as program officials, residents, citizen groups, and Federal, state, and/or local government officials. Experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or

volunteer service .

One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis.
