We are seeking a highly qualified DoD Senior Project Manager to lead client services and serve as a key operational liaison for a $1B, 10-year Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Architect-Engineer (A/E) Services Contract. The candidate will act as the primary client interface with the Department of Defense and coordinate Joint Venture (JV) operations, managing collaboration between our firm, a partner firm, and A/E subconsultants. This leadership role requires expertise in project delivery, team coordination, and client relationship management. The candidate will supervise and mentor a multidisciplinary team of engineers, construction managers, and technical professionals, managing complex projects and supervising task order managers on smaller projects. Business development responsibilities include maintaining the existing IDIQ contract and seeking new opportunities with the Air Force and other clients. This hybrid position is based in San Antonio, with an expectation of working in the office two days per week. While projects are nationwide, travel is expected to be approximately 25%. Main Responsibilities:
Lead the successful execution of complex projects under the nationwide DoD A/E IDIQ contract, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget. Manage relationships with government clients to ensure high satisfaction and performance excellence. Coordinate all aspects of JV operations, including collaboration with partner firms and A/E subconsultants. Supervise and mentor multidisciplinary teams, providing technical and managerial guidance. Develop competitive task order proposals, including pricing, resource planning, and execution strategies. Oversee task order execution, including scope, resources, budgeting, scheduling, and quality assurance. Monitor project performance, report using appropriate tools, and manage risks; escalate issues as needed. Ensure compliance with federal regulations, contract requirements, and company policies, especially regarding safety, performance, and documentation. Facilitate communication among internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and leadership. Support strategic growth by identifying new opportunities and strengthening client relationships.
