Financial Accounting Consulting Services Partner
to join our team. This role offers opportunities to lead client accounting services, develop staff, and manage engagements from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit, be capable of selling, and support financial audits, IPO readiness, and serve as a trusted advisor in CFO or Controller capacities. Core Responsibilities & Essential Functions:
Oversee daily financial accounting activities for clients, acting as a controller or CFO. Lead go-to-market strategies and generate new client revenue. Build trust with clients and staff through professional conduct. Manage, mentor, and motivate team members. Prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Perform activities to meet clients' financial needs. Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights. Identify and resolve client challenges, suggesting operational improvements. Manage staff, providing oversight, coaching, and training. Develop and maintain engagement budgets and write agreements. This role requires travel to client sites, with some overnight stays (10-40%). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Full cycle accounting/finance knowledge: AR/AP, order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, record-to-report, financial analysis, month-end close, reconciliation, intercompany eliminations, consolidation, and reporting. Understanding of policies, procedures, and controls. Experience with platforms like QuickBooks, Xero, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Sage, in various industries. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field. 10+ years of relevant experience. CPA certification required. Experience in professional services and financial management solutions. Strong US GAAP accounting knowledge. Proven business development skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail, accountability, and a strong work ethic. Why work for MGO?
