We are seeking a Product Manager to lead the definition, development, and go-to-market execution of our BMS chip product line. If you bring expertise in BMS and a passion for commercializing innovative, disruptive technologies, we want to hear from you.
Role Summary
As the Product Manager, you will be the business owner and strategic leader responsible for delivering breakthrough sensing products to market. You will define the product vision, collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute on development milestones, and engage customers to ensure product-market fit. This is a highly cross-functional role that blends technical leadership, customer insight, and market strategy - ideal for someone eager to shape the future of battery sensing.
Key Responsibilities
Product Strategy & Roadmap
Define and evolve the product vision and roadmap in alignment with business goals and customer needs. Identify and prioritize use cases across EV, light EV, and ESS markets. Develop and maintain comprehensive product requirements documents (PRDs) and market requirements documents (MRDs).
Customer & Market Engagement
Conduct direct engagements with OEMs, Tier 1 suppliers, and energy integrators to understand needs and gather feedback. Analyze competitive offerings, industry trends, and regulatory developments to inform roadmap direction. Support customer evaluations, pilot programs, and technical workshops to drive adoption.
Development Execution
Lead the product lifecycle from concept through prototype, validation, production, and sustaining. Make informed trade-offs between features, schedule, and resources to maximize product value. Partner closely with engineering and system teams to ensure technical delivery matches customer expectations.
Go-to-Market Readiness
Develop compelling product positioning, value propositions, and competitive differentiators. Partner with product marketing and sales to create technical collateral, launch plans, and internal enablement materials. Serve as the internal champion and subject matter expert.
Required Qualifications
Experience as a Product Manager or similar role in battery systems, energy storage, or embedded sensing hardware/software. In-depth knowledge of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and their role in EVs, light EVs, and ESS applications. Familiarity with battery diagnostics, state-of-health monitoring, and emerging sensing technologies such as EIS. Proven track record of shipping products and leading cross-functional teams. Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills. - Willingness to travel occasionally for customer visits, events, and onsite collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrochemistry, Systems Engineering, or related technical field; advanced degree preferred. Hands-on experience with battery analytics, EIS platforms, or predictive maintenance tools. Background managing hardware + firmware sensor or diagnostics products. Experience launching products in automotive, energy, or other regulated industries.
