As a Cryptographic Security Controls Product Manager, Vice President, you will set the vision for the Key Management Services (KMS) products, collaborating with partners, stakeholders, and customers to define roadmaps. You will guide a product delivery team responsible for delivering measurable business value, building new features, and enhancing existing products' efficiency and usability. Additionally, you will develop new ideas based on customer contact, making decisions with imperfect information while leading with influence. You should possess a blend of business and technical savvy, with a big-picture vision and the drive to realize that vision. Spending time in the industry to understand problems and find innovative solutions is essential. Job Responsibilities Develop and execute product vision and strategy in partnership with engineering teams and customers; establish a multi-year roadmap. Conduct discovery work to determine what to build by analyzing market segments and collaborating with leadership. Manage revenue recovery and expenses, balancing features, stability, and cost efficiencies. Track performance results and recommend improvements. Collaborate with engineers, architects, operations, and business clients, building strong relationships. Manage vendor engagements in data security with support from architects and engineering leads. Cultivate a security-focused culture, embedding threat modeling, secure architecture, and code review into product teams. Maintain comprehensive knowledge of your product’s strategy, roadmap, and investment programs. Learn about unfamiliar technologies and concepts, applying critical thinking to identify issues. Serve as a security thought leader, sharing best practices and being the escalation point for IT Risk and Cyber domains. Required Qualifications and Skills 5+ years of experience in product management or relevant domain. Experience designing and implementing cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) from providers like AWS or Azure. Cryptographic Security Controls experience (KMS, encryption, tokenization). Deep understanding of encryption at Rest, in Transit, and in Use. Proficiency in security protocols, encryption technologies, PKI, IAM, and key management best practices. Ability to understand cryptographic principles and manage cryptographic solutions. Knowledge of recent Data Protection and Encryption trends. Data-driven decision-making skills. Ability to guide business use cases and requirements for Data Security solutions. Experience with agile Scrum and lean principles. Experience across IT processes: architecture, design, engineering, implementation, and operations. Preferred Qualifications and Skills Experience with HSM technologies and their application to product requirements. Experience with HSM-backed Payment systems and PCI standards. Experience with enterprise-scale software development is a plus. Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and diplomatic skills. Comfortable engaging with professional audiences and target users. Excellent communication skills, including public speaking. People skills for cross-functional and third-party interactions. Cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect) preferred.
