1 - Full 2-2-3 schedule (6 PM - 6 AM) (36 hrs. one week, 48 the next).
1 - Strictly weekends, EVERY weekend, 6 AM - 6 PM. (24 hours per week).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain PC/Laptop lifecycle management process for the Tupelo Plant - i.e. - order new devices, setup and deploy to end user, retrieve off-lease devices and ship back to Akron. Maintain records of all devices and their lease status. Provide deskside support for end users for Windows Laptops and Desktops to include but not limited to the following:
Install & troubleshoot software Reset user accounts Replace hard drives and move user's data to new drive
Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain IT equipment used on the manufacturing floor, including PCs, thin clients, HMIs, scanners, printers, and network-connected devices to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to support systems critical to manufacturing operations. Respond promptly to issues impacting production equipment, ensuring timely resolution and escalation as needed. Maintain accurate documentation of floor-level IT assets and their configurations. Troubleshoot printer device issues (paper loading, connectivity, etc.) Keep accurate records of user authorizations for audit purposes. Ability to be trained to do user authorization and system access user maintenance for local Tupelo applications. Ability to be trained to perform backup tape rotation for various backup devices utilized in the Tupelo location. Keep accurate records of tape rotation as well as monitor daily backups for successful completion and report errors when found. May require using ladders to reach IT equipment when assisting other team members in replacing and/or troubleshooting IT equipment. REQUIRED SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of hardware components and troubleshooting techniques. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work both independently and in a team environment. Experience with Active Directory (resetting passwords, unlocking accounts, etc.). Familiarity with imaging software and deployment tools. Ability to follow standard procedures and document tasks. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and responsibilities. Must be able to lift 40 lbs. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in Computer Science or related field preferred A+ or other IT certifications a plus 3-5 years of IT support Manufacturing environment experience preferred SCHEDULE
