BWX Technologies Technical Services Group (TSG) - CNL Project BWXT’s Technical Services Group (TSG) manages high-consequence operations within government-owned facilities requiring strict discipline. We meet the nation’s defense, energy, and environmental demands through a range of management, operational, and technical services.
This position is assigned to the BWXT-led National Laboratories Partners of Canada (NLPC) contract to oversee contract management for post-construction activities at Canadian National Laboratories, such as the Advanced Nuclear Materials Research Center (ANMRC) and the Near Surface Disposal Facility (NSDF).
Job Qualifications/Requirements:
A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or relevant discipline is required. An advanced degree is preferred.
Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience required.
Ability to obtain and maintain a Canadian security clearance is required.
Experience with AECL or Canadian regulatory bodies is highly desirable.
Preference for candidates to reside near the Chalk River Site or be willing to relocate. Some remote work may be permitted.
Job Description/Duties:
Report directly to the Supply Chain GM.
Lead contract management for post-construction activities, ensuring efficient and cost-effective procurement support.
Manage procurement activities for a range of contract values, including high-value nuclear decommissioning projects.
Assist in resource planning and supply chain prioritization for upcoming and new projects.
Support acquisition planning, requirements forecasting, and implement cost-saving measures.
Manage supplier qualification programs and develop supplier relationships.
Support quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Address weaknesses in the CNL supply chain to support project needs.
Review supply chain outreach, make/buy decisions, and market analysis.
Update policies and procedures to ensure effective subcontractor communication and safety compliance.
Apply best practices from nuclear supply chain management in Canada and the U.S.
Collaborate to increase Indigenous community business engagement.
Ensure compliance with Canadian laws, regulations, and policies.
Perform other duties as assigned by the GM Supply Chain and Deputy VP Supply Chain.

The expected salary range in South Carolina is $136,000 - $203,000 USD annually, subject to market and candidate-specific factors. Total compensation may include bonuses and other benefits, with details provided upon offer.
