ECS is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to work in a hybrid remote/on-site capacity in Suffolk, VA in support of various U.S. Government Mission Partner Enclaves within the DoD Community, each with a unique set of data and applications.
The Technical Project Manager works closely with project and technical teams to implement solutions in an agile environment and support operational end users. The Technical Project Manager also aids in shaping, managing, and continually improving Mission Partner Enclaves' platforms and associated infrastructure.
The ideal candidate has advanced business acumen, strong problem-solving skills, and hands-on project management experience, preferably with prior exposure to cloud technologies.
This is a demanding, high-energy position that requires innovative solutions to network, hardware, and software challenges. The selected candidate will join a multidisciplinary team that promotes customer service, and excellence in communication, innovation, collaboration, and teamwork.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Act as primary point of contact for program stakeholders; provide efficient, transparent, timely support and issue resolution. Successfully implement and adhere to Scrum/Agile project management practices. Develop Project Plans, Standard Operating Procedures, reports, and other relevant project documentation. Identify and document customers' business requirements, and liaise with technical teams to identify solutions that meet those requirements. Liaise with project and technical teams to obtain and utilize end user feedback in order to continually augment and improve Mission Partner Enclaves' platforms and associated infrastructure. Ensure timely execution of product and documentation deliverables. Collaborate with technical teams to leverage available data to generate value-added customer deliverables. Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement via team retrospectives, user feedback loops, and process refinement. U.S. Citizen. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) discipline. With no degree, 5+ years of relevant work experience may be substituted. Current DoD Secret security clearance (or higher) required to apply; Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility ultimately required. DoD 8140 IAT Level II / III certification (active, or within 60 calendar days of hire). Security+ or CISSP preferred. Experience as a Scrum Master and/or implementing Scrum / Agile methodologies and best practices. 3+ years of hands-on project management or business analyst experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience working alongside systems engineers on a technical project engagement. Advanced skills using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, and Teams). Basic understanding of Azure and Microsoft cloud computing technologies. Willingness to work in a hybrid onsite/remote capacity, with up to 3 days per week onsite at DoD Suffolk Complex Joint Staff in Suffolk, VA. Ability to travel
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, with excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to balance multiple, competing priorities and execute accordingly. Ability to work independently and proactively, with little to no oversight. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
