The Senior Quality Lead coordinates all planning, execution, and review functions involved in testing and implementing quality safeguards into the development and deployment of software applications. This individual leads other QA professionals and fosters collaboration with the project team to deliver high-quality products. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Leads the QA team for large transformational projects, overseeing activities to ensure quality. Manages quality across all project phases, including requirement review, test script preparation, execution, and review. Identifies gaps in user interfaces or workflows, highlighting risks related to technical debt or schedule slippage. Schedules resources, estimates testing efforts, manages testing needs, and reports on project health. Builds collaborative relationships with technical leads, project managers, clients, and other stakeholders, contributing to project discussions and decision-making. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Education/Certifications:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Experience: Over three years of QA experience with strong organizational and leadership skills. Knowledge of test automation and exploratory testing methods. Understanding of application domains, release schedules, and user communities. Ability to assess application functionality based on risk and impact, prioritizing testing efforts. Competencies and Skills: Resource management and optimization skills. Process improvement mindset, with ability to identify automation opportunities. Expertise in exploratory testing and guiding test coverage. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to lead and report on project status and risks.
