Visit arcfield.com for more details. Responsibilities Support the Office of Space Launch (OSL) Mission Assurance Team (MAT) as an experienced structures lead for a multi-company team. Identify and develop independent technical risk assessments at the system and subassembly level of launch vehicle components. Review and evaluate design, test plans, data, and analyses of launch vehicle structures. Assess impacts of anomalies, hardware non-conformances, and changes on future missions. Perform independent reviews, support tests and launches, and evaluate real-time data. Lead and oversee structures panel activities, personnel assignments, and hardware reviews across multiple providers. Coordinate with avionics and propulsion disciplines to resolve system issues. Participate in technical meetings, review boards, and provide management insights. Document issues, perform risk assessments, and present findings to leadership. Qualifications BS with 16-18 years, MS with 14+ years, or PhD with 10+ years of experience in launch vehicle structural design, analysis, or testing. Minimum 10 years of team leadership experience. Background with providers like SpaceX or ULA preferred. Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. Willingness to travel (~25%). Work Location Flexible, including remote work options. Compensation Range Min: $130,824.78 Max: $314,369.99.
