Lenovo’s IDG AI Ecosystem Team is looking for a strategic and driven Monetization Business Development Director to lead new revenue-generating initiatives across our AI-powered devices and services. This role is pivotal in identifying, structuring, and scaling monetization opportunities that complement Lenovo’s hardware and software ecosystem, working cross-functionally with product, partnerships, and regional sales teams.

Key Responsibilities

Define and drive monetization strategy for AI experiences and services embedded across Lenovo’s PC, tablet, and phone portfolio. Identify and develop new business models, partnerships, and revenue streams aligned with Lenovo’s ecosystem vision. Negotiate and manage strategic alliances with third-party service providers, content platforms, and AI application partners. Collaborate with product and engineering teams to ensure monetization is integrated into product design from the outset. Support regional teams in tailoring and scaling monetization models across global markets. Monitor performance and optimize revenue-generating initiatives based on market feedback and data.

Basic Qualifications

10+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or product commercialization, ideally in the tech or consumer electronics space.

Preferred Qualification

Proven success in developing and scaling monetization strategies for digital platforms or device ecosystems. Strong commercial acumen and experience negotiating high-value deals. Ability to work across multiple stakeholders in a matrixed global organization. Familiarity with AI technologies, subscription models, and platform ecosystems is a strong advantage.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $170k - 250K. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission.
