The Role The Director of Risk Intelligence manages Galileo’s Strategy, Operational Fraud, and Fraud Investigation teams, overseeing investigation standards, SOPs, and automation tools to enhance efficacy and accountability. This role partners across teams to ensure operational excellence in fraud prevention, reporting directly to the Head of Cardholder Services.
Key Responsibilities
Drive fraud assessment, strategy implementation, and data-driven insights for monitoring fraud risks.
Manage change processes, update SOPs, and oversee fraud incident response.
Oversee end-to-end fraud management, including transaction and onboarding strategies.
Review fraud attacks, address coverage gaps, and manage fraud losses.
Collaborate with teams to embed prevention measures and ensure standards are met.
Lead and coach investigation teams, identify recovery opportunities, and develop training programs.
Partner with legal and law enforcement for financial recovery efforts.
Drive process improvements using analytics and data insights.
Ensure high-quality delivery and validate fraud prevention processes.
Qualifications
8+ years in fraud prevention, investigations, or cyber-crime environments.
Experience in fraud strategy and operations, with data-driven approach.
Fraud investigation experience is a plus.
