Duties – Quality Inspection of our Products
Climate controlled environment.
Full Time -1st shift 7am-3pm
Monday-Friday and Overtime available
Responsibilities:
The grading of finished product, following USDA standards or customer specifications whichever apply. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. Grading of raw materials, dry beans, sweeteners, vinegar, etc.. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. In process grading of different products, i.e. green beans, bean salad, tomato products, dry beans, etc. Communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. Grading of Co- pack products, communicate with proper personnel if product does not meet spec. Calibration of lab equipment. Canning of dry bean samples and dry bean shipments. Help with product cuttings. Maintain cleanliness in work area and lab. Other functions that may be required by Supervisor. Maintain a positive teamwork atmosphere by acting professionally, communicating, and helping co-workers. Skills and Abilities:
Must be able to follow directions. Must be cooperative and maintain a team spirit. Basic knowledge of Mathematics necessary Must be able to be trained on the different lab equipment. Sensory skills – a plus Must be able to communicate clearly and concisely with personnel on the floor as well as Supervision. Must be meticulous and detail-oriented.
